Jackson Reforms

On 1 April 2013 the civil justice reforms recommended by Lord Justice Jackson in his comprehensive review of civil litigation costs, will come into effect. The recommendations are intended to address concerns that costs in civil cases had become too high and to ensure that in future they are controlled to be proportionate and cost effective. As a result, the Jackson reforms are far reaching and comprehensive.
